To Settle:
To become calm or quiet
To place in desired state or order
To be satisfied with
An elusive concept any way you look at it. With an aversion to inefficiency, an innate inability to unpack (both literally and figuratively) and a compulsion for perfection, settling seems unattainable. How do we sit still and relax when the to-do list never ends? Where is the line between enjoying the lives we’ve created and becoming complacent? How can we be satisfied without losing our ambition? How can we be happy with what we have if we are always on a mission for more? I’m not doing that thing where I pose insightful questions so I can push my longwinded theories on you. I am legitimately asking. I don’t have the answers. If I did, this site wouldn’t exist and I’d be some sort of wise guru.
